Q: WHAT IS AN ART PARTY?
A: Art party offers, fun and creative painting parties for adults and children. No experience needed to leave with a beautiful painting! Great idea for birthday parties, couple's night, a girl’s night out, corporate and team building, or just to get together with friends.
Q: HOW CAN I HOST AN ART PARTY?
A: Contact us and someone will be in touch to schedule your party. The host gets to choose the painting they would like everyone to paint at the party. (Print the Host Checklist for a handy guide).
Q: HOW MANY PEOPLE DO I NEED TO HOST AN ART PARTY?
A: Parties must have a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 25 painters. If less than 6 people attend the party, the host will be responsible to cover the cost.
Q: WHAT IS THE COST OF AN ART PARTY EVENT?
A: The cost to host a party is $35 to reserve your date and will cover the host's painting. If the host must cancel the party, this fee will not be refunded. The date will not be held until the reservation fee is paid. The cost per painter is $35 and should be paid at the time of the party. Cash is the preferred payment method, however checks and cards will be accepted.
Q: HOW FAR WILL TURNERARTS TRAVEL TO PUT ON AN ART PARTY?
A: TurnerArts is located out of Pigeon Michigan, and will travel about one hour from there.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
A: We provide aprons, but you may want to wear something you wouldn’t mind getting paint on, just in case.
Q: WHAT CAN I EXPECT AS A HOST OF AN ART PARTY?
A: You can host a party in your home or any venue that can accommodate 6-25 people. One or more tables and chairs in the same room, with good lighting, will be needed to set up the painting area. The instructor will bring table cloths to cover any tables. The instructor will arrive 45 minutes to 1 hour before the party to set up and will clean up after the event. Painting time lasts around 3 hours, with a short break.
Q: WHERE CAN I HOST AN ART PARTY?
A: Wherever you host the party needs good lighting and space. A large space in a home, church, business, private restaurant space (like a banquet room), well lit garage or shed, would all make great places to have a party. A shadowy basement or garage, a noisy restaurant or low lit bar area, and tight small living spaces, are not good places to have a party.
Q: IS ART PARTY AVAILABLE FOR KIDS?
A: Children's parties are $25 per child, with a minimum of 6 painters (maximum number depends on age and adult help provided by host). There is a $35 refundable deposit to reserve the date. If the host must cancel the party, this fee will not be refunded. The date will not be held until the reservation fee is paid. Recommended ages for kid's parties are 6-17 years old. Canvas sizes are 11x14 or 12x12. An Art Party for kids lasts 2 - 2.5 hours.
