Haiti Christian Development Fund

In 1997 I was able to be a part of a crew shooting a documentary/promotional video in Haiti. Along with 2 professors and 3 other students we spent over a week living with a missionary family in Fonds Des Blancs.

This video tells the story of how Jean Thomas and his family are making a difference in one of the poorest countries in the world.  It was produced to show the world what he is doing there, and to ask for support to continue on.

This was my Senior Project in college and I was in charge of shooting and editing everything.  It was recorded 3/4" tapes and edited in the old linear way of tape to tape editing.  Today's method of editing is so much easier and faster, but even this "outdated" video, shows that a great story told well, is the most important part of video production.
