The Plainwell Papermill Redevelopment Project

This is a 3 minute trailer I edited for the 1 hour documentary, "New Beginnings, The Plainwell Paper Mill Redevelopment Project".

The trailer tells the story of how one Michigan town is reclaiming it's future after the closing of their local papermill in 2000. With families out of jobs, the city loosing a huge tax base, and an empty deteriorating property in the heart of the town; Plainwell decided to purchase the factory and start redeveloping its future. This is a story of rich Michigan history, overcoming great obstacles, and casting vision for a brighter future.
